New photo tent picture-taking

It's not the greatest paint job to show off, and I think I need to fiddle a bit with the camera settings. The box does do a good job of eliminating background shadows and the like, though. 

Some success

The auctions went well (only two items did not sell). Everything has shipped out and now I'm awaiting the Paypal funds to be made available (eBay holds the $ until the transactions are all completed).

Once I have the moola, I will buy the tools and begin the gaming table build. I will try to do a series of WIP posts with picutres.

I went to the painting club yesterday and while I did work on Marthrangul like I planned, I did actually paint an entire Bones bugbear start to finish. Just tabletop, rank & file quality; but it's a painted mini, dammit!

The new glasses seemed to help a bit. At least it seemed that my back was tired before my eyes were.

Painting Club

I went to the minis painting club's meeting this month. I haven't been in a while. I worked on a couple more Reaper Bones (some bugbears and a gnoll). The going is slow, but I am painting a bit more regularly.

Of course, I might have gotten through more painting if I hadn't left my glasses at home...

Some progress!

I wanted to post before I spaced out again, but actually worked on some minis last night! (yay)

I finished (more or less) a Reaper Bones Bugbear and three LOTR Minas Tirith spearmen.

I was waiting to snap pix after I got the bases done. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

I also fiddled a bit with a Reaper Orcus model I've had half painted for ages (mostly while waiting for paint to dry on the others).

I don't know that it inspired a new campaign or anything, but damn it felt good to actually work on something and make progress!
