From the batch I bought for my Moria/LOTR stuff. I was going for an incorporeal-glowy green look, but I don't think it quite worked. Still, like orcs, you can't have too many undead minis!

Spooky wolf
From the Bones pile, a "shadow wolf" (or whatever). It was a quick and easy paint, but since it was the first one I finished from the bunch, I thought I'd share:
A glow is supposed to be coming from his eyes and mouth, like he isn't really an animal, but rather an evil spirit.

dem Bones
Here's the pile of minis (& bases) I got from the Bones 2 set. For scale, the little circles are 1" bases:
So, umm, more minis
Back in the summer, I had worked out a deal with a fellow poster on Dragonsfoot whereby I would be purchasing his Reaper Bones 2 Kickstarter minis from him. He was keeping the expansion set and I was getting what came with his $100 pledge. They arrived last night and WOW! By my count it's over 150 minis; and not just simple sculpts! I'll have to post a pic of the haul, but I don't think I'll be buying any new figs for a bit.
My plan is to try using some of the bugbear or gnoll minis that have identical sculpts for a speed-painting video.

…progress?
The HQ minis are filed and cleaned up. I only dry fit the gargoyle, I'll paint his wings and head separately. Now if it were only warm enough to prime this stuff!

A New Project Looms
My brother (of Catthulhu fame) has a complete set of the old HeroQuest adventure game. He is wanting to eBay it and asked me to paint up the minis.
As you can see from my previous post, I love the HQ minis. They're just fun! So I'll be working on those over the next few weeks and posting my progress. I may even do a video or two about speed and rack painting. Whee!

A couple more (just for fun)
I plan on using a couple of these HeroQuest knight minis in an upcoming video. This one was a color test (took about 40 minutes to paint using TAP paints).
